Portswood House

This project involved the complete strip out, refurbishment, re planning and extension of the former B and Q offices to form the headquarters building for Ageas Insurance resulting in some 123,000 sq ft of office space.

The proposals included accommodation for 15,000 staff including a call centre, management offices meeting rooms, flexible conference facilities, IT intense facilities, restaurant, servery and commercial kitchen.

The building was completely re-branded for Ageas and involved new roofing, windows, curtain walling, suspended ceilings, finishes, lighting, air conditioning, toilets, entrance foyer and reception.

New external features for staff use included landscaped courtyards and seating together with refurbished car, cycle and motorcycle provision.
